FAQ

Questions before launch.

Short answers for site owners, agency operators, and the Pufferish admin team.

Do customers need their own AI provider key?

No. Pufferish owns the hosted AI connection. WordPress receives a scoped site token and public widget key instead.

Where does the chatbot UI run?

The widget is served from Pufferish and loaded in an iframe, so UI updates can ship without rebuilding the WordPress plugin.

How are limits enforced?

The dashboard tracks monthly usage, remaining messages, reset date, and per-site or per-visitor rate limits. The free plan includes 50 messages per month; paid plans include 500, 4,000, or 15,000 messages per month.

Can site owners review conversations?

Yes. The dashboard stores conversations, message counts, credits, latency, and site context for review.

How does billing work?

Billing is handled through Stripe checkout and the Stripe customer portal. Admins can monitor subscriptions from the super admin area.
